I've been nominated for 'Favourite Web Series Actress' along with Emmerdale’s Wil Johnson at the Screennation Awards for #Sokorates Directed by Leeds own Ricardo Barker and starring myself and Wil.
The Screen Nation Digital-Is Media Awards is designed as a competitive excellence platform that will showcase the best work being published online made by black British and international digital media creatives themed under digital publishing, entertainment and culture working across short films, web series, blogs, magazines, social networks and more.
Voting will take the form of a unique combination of peer recognition and public support which will test and reward the interactive capabilities of shortlisted nominees in the key area of digital marketing.
The Digital-iS Media Awards presents a unique first ever opportunity to recognise the high quality work being produced by Black British and international talent in the digital space. Achievement Awards in up to 12 categories will be presented at a ceremony in London with a screening of shortlisted films in the Short Film category.
Nominations have been announced online by Screen Nation and Vox Africa (Sky218), the Presenting Partner of the inaugural Digital-iS Media Awards. Voting takes place online for 3 weeks until midnight Sun 15th Dec exclusively on Screen Nation and Vox Africa’s voting micro sites.
